What we collect, why, and who else sees it.

The photo you upload

Your pet photo is used to generate artwork previews. It is sent to Google's Gemini API for image processing, and it is held only for the length of your working session — sessions are cleared after about six hours of inactivity. We do not use your photo to train anything, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the processors listed below.

What we keep when you order

The artwork you picked.
Your email address, so we can send your order.
For physical orders, the name and shipping address you enter at checkout.

We keep these to fulfill and support your order.

Who else handles your information

Stripe — payment processing. Your card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them.
Gooten — printing and shipping. Receives your name, shipping address, and the artwork to print.
Resend — sends your order email.
Google Gemini API — processes your uploaded photo to generate the artwork.

Analytics & cookies

There are no user accounts. We use a small first-party analytics beacon to see which pages and styles are popular; it sets no cookies and never records your name, email, or raw IP address. We run no third-party advertising trackers.

Your data

To ask what we hold about you, or to have your order records deleted, email support@illustratedpet.com. Note that we cannot recall an order already sent to the printer.
